The Jackson County 9-1-1 Board (Alabama) voted at its July 20th meeting to accept Ryan Public Safety Solutions’ bid for a new Geographically Diverse 9-1-1 system.  The project will include the PlantCML Sentinel Patriot solution with the core components in two geographically diverse locations within Jackson County.   Half of the common equipment will be installed at the 9-1-1 center on Broad Street along with four Sentinel positions.  The remaining half of the system will be installed at the Jackson County Courthouse on Laurel Street and will serve as a backup.  The project also includes two Sentinel CommandPost portable positions that can be utilized at either location.
